omg #2 singles match!!
today was my last tennis match of the season. most of our top 6 players couldn't come today so the coach wasn't sure how it would go. first i played 2nd team doubles with Alana and that went well, we won the pro set like 8-1. then we it was off to singles, and i played #2 singles, ahhhh omg! i've only played in 2 other matches here and in both of those i played #6, but today he put me at #2 to assure victories in the other matches and i guess give me a taste of a harder match (all with little expectation of me winning). HOWEVER, i won the match in 2 sets 6-2 and 6-3!!!! it was so surprising to play this position, let alone win! our team won the whole thing today 6 matches to 3, glady proving Fred's (our coach) prediction of losing wrong. it's sad that the season is over, but i'm really glad i played and am looking forward to next year. i decided to continues with the racket sports and will be starting squash in like a week, which i've never really played before.
