Return of the One True - Inked
Finished this off quite quickly last night, think it was only about 5-6hrs total. Was aiming for a bit more of a rough, organic look with the scribble style at the bottom, though looking back at it now I'm not sure it's worked so well. Oh well, something different anyhow! Had loads of fun rendering Thor, the great thing this time round was I really was just working on autopilot over Hubert's pencils, and I found I didn't really have to think about lineweights, it all just seemed to come.
Have I said recently that I love my no.2 brush?? lol
Watched Dead Set last night. Aside from stealing mine and JP's idea, I didn't think it was too bad. Certainly a UK produced show I've actually WATCHED of the last year anyhow. Glad I gave that stupid 24-wannabe show Spooks a miss - what a f**king publicity stunt ACTUALLY submitting one of the actor to torture (Waterboarding) for 'realism'. How about, instead of that-and bear with me as it's just a thought- how about actually trying to write a good show that works on a BBC budget?? No? Oh well... back to The Shield, 24, BSG and Heroes for me then...(don't even get me started on f**king Doctor Who)
