Like I've said before, with great intensity that I shall reiterate here, you are my best friend and as such it was an honor to have YOU at my wedding! I will make certain that distance will have nothing to do with our friendship. We'll have to trade visits. Also, Crystal and I LOVED the ice cream maker and I am especially stoked to crack into my scotch! Thank you so much for everything, and I'm so glad that you loved the Guinness chocolate cake. Also glad because it was sort of an experiment; we didn't like how our previous Guinness cakes were turning out, as in not Guinness-y enough, they were just turning into chocolate and spice cakes, and so in order to spike up the beer flavor we made a Guinness reduction for both the cake batter and the royal icing, subbing out the eggs in the royal icing for our Guinness/dark molasses reduction. Also, I will gmail you that track that we used during the processional. We both miss you dearly and hope you, Kari, and the dogs are so well. Take care, bro. Much love.
(And this applies to both of you :-P) It's like I've said time and again, the miles will only separate us if we let them. I'm excited about the many funs we will share in the coming years.
The cake is exquisite- sadly Guinness isn't quite Kari's drink of choice. I'll be sure to share with the gamers this week, their palate is very much appropriate.
