morning madness

The weekend is finally here, hallelujah!

So I didn't start on my crapload of studying for the bajillion tests next week yet. Instead, I decided to reward myself (for nothing) by drawing. Eeeee!

So now the question remains: What IS this monstrosity?! I'll tell you - it's horrible skin-tone coloring and a definite need of a hair dye. I actually wanted her hair to be brown, but for experiment, I started with a more reddish base color. The result? Something that I clearly did not picture. I'm thinking of starting over (not including lineart).

I still have some other sketches I really want to color - one of my sister's priest from RO, one concentrated more with perspective, and one that just looks kind of fun to color. Arrgh, I need more time! (Plus more skills) XD

Anyhow, something oddly interesting happened to me two nights ago. Actually, if was two mornings ago, since this all happened at 2am.

I think I've gotten a better understanding of what it'll feel like if the Gestapo came to my door one night. It started when I decided that I had put in a good enough time of studying for my cursed vocab test tomorrow (freakin' enlgish teachers wants the EXACT definition), and decided to sleep. Then someone starts rapping on my door really loudly, ringing the doorbell, and telling me to open up the door. I woke up my parents, and of course we didn't open up the door. So this guy shines a flashlight through our windows and keeps on telling us to open the door, that they're the police, etc. It was pretty freaky, and after around ten minutes, we get this phone call and this lady tells us to please open the door and talk to the officer outside. Hehehe.

So we did. And he wasn't a fraud. He was carrying that metal stick too, thinking there was some kind of emergency, but it ended up that they thought we rung them up (we really did not), and so three squad cars left my house, and that was that. Geez.
