I had no Internet for SUCH a long time and was so sad! (I feel slightly uncomforatble and dorky for admitting this fact.) But anyway, it's finally all fixed and I have STABLE connection today! So first off:
Happy belated,
_br0wneyedgrl_! YAY, you are 18! I need to take you out on a birthday lunch or something sometime soon! Hope you will have a great year ahead of you, and I'm sorry I didn't get to wish you a happy birthday on time and/or in person.
Anyway, as a Move-In Assistant, I was able to move in way early Tuesday evening, and during those extra days, I helped prepare the floor and rooms for the students coming in later on the week. It was pretty lonely and sad at first, since I knew NO ON (and my Internet was not working!), but after a certain time, I got to be friends with a lot of cool people and that was exciting and just so fulfilling. Plus I REALLY love my dorm building at the moment. I used to not because it was the furthest away from campus, but it is spacious, clean, new, and I have friendly roomates and two really awesome floor RAs who spend a lot of time organizing floor events for us, which I think is really nice. So far, most of the people I met were extremely nice and cool, and I just hope it can continue to be like that.
I'm still confused about my major. I'm so sad. T^T Argh, why did biochem have to be different from the rest of the other life science courses?!?
I just came back from a floor social playing around 2 games of Twister and around 3 and a half hours of Cranium. My team almost won, but alas, another team beat us to it. It was so fun and interacting and I think it really helped people in my floor get to know each other. :) So that's cool.
I don't know what else to say at the moment. I'm kind of tired, yet I don't think I'm going to fall asleep for a very long time.
Hope everybody's doing okay!
