Walkabout article on Tarosophist International

Jul 07, 2010 16:30

Walkabout happened exactly a year ago (well, 3 days plus) so now's a good time to revisit the event. I wrote about this purely awesome thing (before it happened) here  http://tarotpuu.livejournal.com/58891.html and the even more awesome group responsible for this delight can be found here http://www.nic.fi/~hoyhen/ (Teatteri Naamio ja Höyhen).

I wrote about my experience and it became an article, which was recently published in the Tarosophist International, a quarterly magazine of Tarot Professionals. The T-I magazine is the only real, actually running Tarot magazine there is, and the quality of this mag is just A-Ma-Zing! There really hasn't been such a great thing since K. Frank Jensen's Manteia Courier, and that happened in the nineties.  Do yourself a favour and check out the Autumn -09 "Thoth" issue - 146 pages entirely on the Crowley-Harris Thoth deck, as a hardcover ed. - Hello! This latest issue 7 (Summer 2010) is no less amazing, 148 pages divided into Ratio (theory) and Experientia (Practise) sections. If you're interested even just a little in Tarot, then do consider joining in the bunch! They're friendly, they're bright, they're Pro. Hey, I'm in there as well!

Okay, enough of fanfare, here's the article:
