Made my deadline (and then some)

Last week, I decided to knit a scarf for Special Olympics, with a personal goal of having it completed by January 10. Plenty of time to pull it off, even when knitting with god-awful acrylic that was obviously made sturdy enough to drive a car over. I easily completed the scarf, and after discovering I had so much yarn left over (and some time to kill), I decided to whip out another, quickie scarf in an elongated basketweave pattern. Knit on size 11 needles, this one went super!fast, which is good because I've got all this wonderful hand-dyed yarn I picked up from various shops over the holiday that I really want to dive into.

For those of you who are wondering, the print on the t-shirt I'm wearing is of Cthulhu. *snerk*

damn noisy neighbors, w00t!, acrylic yarn teh suxs, knitting for a good cause, i made this, fiber art
