January 14th 2012 - Valentines Day

Hey guys!

Sorry about the lack of updates recently, i've been super busy with uni work and i also had my BFF Becca around for four days too (MOSTawesome4dayseverrrr <333) and that has left me out of the gym longer than i would have likes but hey ho, hopping back to it now :D

So today is Valentines Day/Lovers Day/Romance Day/STI Day/Pregnancy day/Foreveralone Day, and i have to say, i was pretty surprised, my usually Militant anti-bullshit holiday boyfriend woke me this morning with a lovely breakfast AND a gorgeous bunch of red and white roses! 8D I actually couldn't believe my eyes, i was so surprised <3 It was a lovely thing to wake up to! :D I hope you all had a fabulous day no matter what you were doing and who you were doing it with, if anything Valentines Day is just a generally awesome day to express JUST how much you care for your other half/soulmate/friend/parent :D If it was socially acceptable to send your friends Valentine's cards i TOTALLY would have xD

Now, onto the non social bit of the update, gym stuff! XD So today was pretty awesome in terms of workout stuff. Here is what i got up to:

Cardio:

Walk (Highest incline, HR 160) - 200 cals
Cross Trainer - 200 cals
Walk (highest incline, HR 158) - 200 cals
Cross Trainer - 50cals
Bike - 50 cals

700 calories burned

Weights:

Biceps and Latimus Dorsi (back) - 40 x 35kg (4 sets of 10)
Triceps and Deltiods - 20 x 20kg (4 sets of 5) (First time to upgrade to 20 kilos)
Triceps and Chest - 20 x 20kg (4 sets of 5) (first time to upgrade to 20 kilos)
Back - 20 x 25kg (4 sets of 5) (first time to upgrade to 25kg)
Butt and back extentions - 50 x 55kg (5 sets of 10)
