10 of Swords

10 of SWORDS

This card can easily be read as both negative and positive. Let's get the negative out of the way first.

NEGATIVE: This card depicts a man lying face down with 10 swords in his body. A simple interpretation of this would be betrayal or defeat. To feel backstabbed by somebody close to you, or the world. To lose a battle. Not reading that prime goal in your life. To be defeated by the enemy. Letting the enemies scorn get to you. Illness or sudden death in the family or with yourself. The lack of willpower to keep going.

POSITIVE: 10 is the last number in the group of pip cards (minor arcana). It can be interpreted as coming full circle. Reaching the finish line. Overcoming a strenuous activity or goal. The worst is over. Usually when we go through something very tragic or difficult in our lives, the 10 of Swords will come up to remind us that the worst is over and a new beginning is just over the horizon!

The last couple days I have felt like the 10 of Swords from the negative perspective. I just felt like everyone's opinions and thoughts were like swords digging into my back. And I allowed them to have that effect on me.

When you catch yourself feeling like the 10 of Swords, you must remind yourself that you can only hurt yourself more if YOU allow it. People will always have their opinions, but it doesn't mean you allow them to get to you. Learn to protect yourself, your energy, guard your aura from being attacked. Soak up positive vibes and learn to radiate it back upon the ones who speak their mind blindly and not care what effect they may have on you. Be strong! (Definitely a reminder I had to give to myself this week.)

Blessed be!
♥,
Rose.
