2011: a list of pros and cons
PRO:
Got engaged
fiance moved in with me
have lots more space in the basement
actual wedding planning can start now, since we have down time with each other for once
CONS: (ohdeargod)
Running out of money very quickly
might have to push back going back to school because of money
had strep
week after i got told i had strep i went and got tested for mono since the strep wasn't any better
day after mono test i broke my elbow, and since I didn't qualify for FMLA I stopped working at the hospital
Now the big one: while I was up in Chicago last week for Joel's graduation party/moving a few last minute things down to Alton, I had a gal bladder attack. And I have a gallstone. and I have to get it taken out, which is going to happen the 15th of this month. Would be sooner, but since I also had an infection, I have to finish up my antibiotics and wait to make sue there's no swelling, otherwise the operation can't be an outpatient one.
So since Saturday I've been hopped up on pain killers(hydrocodone, yay) and I have to have a very bland diet. Thank god i can have ketchup and mustard though, they make sammiches and chicken yummy.
So yeah.. I dunno, it's scary thinking about it.. I mean, they're going to pull an organ out of my belly button, and that freaks me out a bit.
OTHER NEWS: I might be starting an etsy shop to make some cash. Bath salts and homemade soaps. Fun fun!
