I've had my tarot deck for years and years, and played around with it a lot, but am just beginning to get serious about developing my skills. I did a quick 3 card spread earlier today and I'm wondering if anyone can offer me some further insight.

To give a bit of background: My boyfriend and I have been together for about two years. Three months into our relationship, I found out I was pregnant. He didn't want me to continue the pregnancy. There was turmoil for a few months, many hurtful things were said, and trust was broken. He eventually came around and now we have a beautiful daughter who we both love dearly. We just moved in together last month and things have been going pretty well. I'm itching to get married, and he says he wants to also, but "not now." This has been the cause of quite a few arguments between us. So I asked the cards, "What direction is this relationship going in?" The answer:

Card 1: 3 of Swords
Card 2: 4 of Wands
Card 3: King of Pentacles

My (very basic) interpretation: The 3 of swords represents the difficult time we had in the past when I found out I was pregnant. Maybe this is making him hesitant about jumping into marriage just yet? The 4 of wands is where we are now, to me it says "happy home and family." The king of pentacles confuses me a little bit. Boyfriend is definitely the kind of person who values financial security, in fact it's one of the biggest reasons he gives for not wanting to marry yet. He wants to be more stable. Is that all the cards are saying, or are they saying that financial stability is the outcome?

What else can be gathered from this reading? I really appreciate any thoughts you have!
