Also love that the magician has a feminine look... almost like the high priestess paying homage to the moon and her animal nature with full consciousness and embodiment?
Thank you so much, I can always count on you for some most positive and interesting feedback! Would you mind if I quoted you on my website?? I've probably asked you before but now I really mean it....!
I am like... incredibly honoured. You are a true artist my dear and to touch the hem of your gown with my words is something that makes me feel... wow. Yes. Quote me and you've made my day/week/month! Thanks so much. And I don't know why more people in this community don't comment. This is awesome stuff you're producing.
Thank you!! I have added your quote on my tarot deck page. I know I am not on LJ nearly as much as I used to be, basically FB took over! I think this goes for a lot of people. I wish there was more going on here because there is not much in the way of tarot community on FB either, it's all quite scattered. I think Pamela Coleman Smith rising from the dead would be the only thing to wake tarot people up! ;)
lol. Have you surfed to the Aeclectic tarot forums? It's VERY active there! There's a forum where tarot deck creators post their work in progress and I think you'd get more feedback there than here. You definitely wouldn't go without comment. I for one want to purchase your deck if you're publishing it in the future, and I believe others there will feel the same way. Check it out:
Hi! Yes, that sounded familiar there is a page of my work on Aeclectic Tarot: http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/pomegranate/ for quite a while now.. I have not been actively involved in the forum though. I should check it out. Well, I will be publishing a "Major Arcana only" once I finish The Chariot ( I have a full deck in progress I already sell and send cards to people as I finish them, of course there are some impatient people and there is a forum where I've been a fly on the wall and read them complain about how long I'm taking to complete the deck!) Most people don't fathom how much work is involved in this. I'm pretty up front on my site about how long it is taking, I started this in 1998, I have these many cards complete and I call it a life "journey" which it is..! Anyway, thanks for your continued interest!:)
I imagine you could only be a fruit fly. :-) I like the authenticity of your deck. It's palpable. I'm really fussy about the deck I use and my sole working deck at the moment is Robin Wood's, which took her ten years to complete. There was a reason for that. It's amazing. Yours will be too. Keep working from your heart and never mind what the people say. There are a thousand frivolous decks that are knocked off in a year or so. Yours is above and beyond. Good things come to those who wait and all of that...
There's a lot here to ponder!
