Answering questions of timing

Does anyone know about how best to answer questions about timing, using tarot? When someone asks "When should I do this/expect this", where do you look for answers and how?

Yes, but where in the reading do you look for the date?

I agree that the elements corrospond to seasons, but also that the numbering of the card can count as well. Generally a day/weeks/months sort of thing. It isn't very specific and probably won't pin down an exact day, but will give a general idea of timing.

That's really interesting question. I've never thought about how I put that together ( ... )

I have tried (and got a coherent reading out of it) drawing cards each for a period of time successively further and further in future. E.g., ask: "how is the situation looking like for the querent in relation to their question a month from now?" and draw a card. If you don't see the querent's desired outcome, draw the next card, to view the situation again, two months from now, and so on.
