Wicked: The musical

I saw Wicked, the musical yesterday. The musical is loosely based off a novel by Gregory Macguire (which I never read), but from comparisons found on Wiki, the book doesn't have as good of an ending.
The plot revolves around The (Wonderful) Wizard of Oz, before Dorothy makes an entrance. The prelude to The Wizard of Oz, explaining how everything leads up to it. In this version, the Wicked Witch of the West doesn't start off as evil as we're lead to believe in The Wizard of Oz. The first act is HILARIOUS. Glinda the Good is this bubbly blond airhead, known as Galinda, and due to some airheaded-mix-up-ness of Galinda, the two become roommates. The best part is when Galinda tries to do a make over for Elphaba. Galinda tries to teach her how to do a hair toss, with the flick of a wrist. Then she tries to teach her to do it without hands. XDXD "Toss-toss~"

I found a couple of Youtube clips, and although different people played the characters in this round of the tour, the roles were just the same. Shoshana Bean who played Elphaba in yesterday's show, was so, so good. She had such an AMAZING voice. The soundtrack was good too, I want to get it.

song: POPULAR
when: Galinda tries to make over Elphaba

song: WHAT IS THIS FEELING
when: they first become roommates

The two are able to be so unison, even outside of the show... I guess that's why they're professionals.

song: Defying Gravity
when: when elphaba tries to run away
