Euro Pic Spam Ahead! (Part One)
So I finally got all of my pictures from Europe onto my computer! Yeah! Between my friend Allison and I, we had somewhere between 300-400 pictures. O.o I somehow managed to narrow those down to a more reasonable amount, lol, but the process was fairly arbitrary. So if some of these pictures strike you as really random choices to put up, my excuse is that my brain was overwhelmed by sheer volume. ^-^
Also, by "narrow down" I mean that I went from 300-400 pics to 30-40, LOL, so I'm going to split this up into multiple posts. Whee!

Tree of Awesome! Okay, I realize there are flowering trees everywhere, but I've never seen one quite like this. And see what I was saying? random pics, lol

See the tiny cross-shaped thing against the sky? It's Cristo Rei! Which is the smaller, Portuguese equivalent of Brazil's Christ the Redeemer. This is a really bad picture since we never got any closer to it than this, but I had to put it up since it reminded me of jen_in_japan 's Earth & Sky. *grin*

The cloisters of a monastery in Belem. The decorative carvings on this place were amazingly elaborate. The whole building looked like a giant iced cake. ^-^
