Jen is right, the lighting is amazing. The book stacks. The stairs. The AWESOME. Uhm, I can't think straight, but I'm very much in love with this. Jason's shirt cracks me up, for some reason. He looks so fresh! it all actually looks very fresh, but fresh is not a word I would usually associate with Jason Blood. Which is obviously a terrible mistake, because eeeeeeee!! Babs! Babs' top! and her glasses! and Jason's hair!

Thank you! I'm afraid she kind of stole Jason's spotlight, but I think he's too busy, um, enjoying her to care. *grin* In any case, I'm glad you like her, too!
He looks so fresh!LOL! Maybe it's because his shirt is green? *is thinking of fresh lettuce now* Hrm ... you're right, though, there is something about the whole scene that's ... I wasn't thinking "fresh," but more like ... "un-Gothamy" lol. As I was telling Jen above (below?) it's a little too not-gloomy--maybe they're in a Metropolis library, hee ( ... )

Yay! Thank you! The lighting was actually one of the main things I was trying to get right here--I'm obsessed with light, but I've never been able to capture it before, so I'm excited that it actually ... looks like there's light in this picture, lol. Even if it is Gotham and should probably be gloomier, eep! So yes--not a lame thing for you to mention at all! It has made me very happy that you did. XD *dances*
And I'm glad the jacket is recognizable as a jacket, too, lol--I was afraid it would just look like an amorphous blob of ... blobbiness. *grin*
I want to brush her hair.I read your fic before I posted this, and when you were describing Barbara with her hair pulled back I started thinking, Oh no! I drew Babs with her hair down! She's supposed to be a severe librarian, she shouldn't have her hair down nooo! I guess I can claim that Jason, um, undid it. ;p ( ... )

The lighting blows me away, it really does. And the sun have to come out in Gotham now and then. :) You have every reason to be very fond and proud of this picture, it rocks in so many ways.
