Counselor: Sethra Lavode. She is AWESOME AMAZING from Morrolan's canon, generally on the side of People We Like (his canon doesn't really do the whole absolute good or evil thing), is feared throughout the Empire, does that whole Mysterious and Cryptic thing and plays conversational games, plans very, very long-term and complicated, and is a magnificent badass. There are honestly very few people I'd trust to play her because she's godmodey and has a LOT of influence on Morrolan, but you're one of them. Also, she's a vampire.
SAME QUESTION BACK although it is probably a lost cause, since I fail at apping very hard.

UM. FAIRLY...LONG? I think counting the prequels, it's, like. Seventeen books, ish? But there are parts you can skip depending on who you're apping and it's amazing, I've gotten a bunch of people hooked on it. I recommend the prequel trilogythingie because it's written in a Dumasian style, mimicking the Three Musketeers, and Brust pulls it off AMAZINGLY.
Oh, man, twelve kingdoms. I remember watching a bunch of that waybackwhen, but I forget most of it now.
Hmmm, tossup between FIGHT THINGS and talk magic theory or scholarly things with knowledgeable people. Depends on his mood!

Sephiroth . . actually. Even further back, I think. Somehow mess with Angeal and Genesis and Sephiroth to try and make their lives better -- on one hand. On the other hand she doesn't know what that could do. So maybe she would do nothing. She isn't resigned but she is zen.

....woe. MAYBE NEXT YEAR because it is also full to bursting with fighting and magic and politics. XD; Just don't read Teckla, because it's painful.
LET'S SEE. Morrolan changes nothing. He is zen in himself. Ivy would possibly accelerate herself past puberty, because nobody loves puberty and she has a thousand different lifetimes of memories of it, and really that's enough. Stiaan.....hard question. Um. If it was only himself then maybe he'd change himself so that he took things less for granted, because he thinks that's part of what led to the events of the first book. Before he came to camp, he'd've redacted himself out of existence if it would undo the harm he caused, but in camp he's gotten some sense beaten into him by Mikah.
