Alexander McQueen has to be one of the most BRILLIANT designers of our time. Not only for his designs, oh no. The man can put on a show! I was on vogue.co.uk, as I often am and did my weekly rounds of watching the fashion show videos. I then came across Alexander McQueen's A/W collection for 2006-7. Can I say awesome! Never have I loved a show so much. In fact the only other show I loved just as much was Dior's 2004-5 A/W collection (with all its 60s rock edge). The best part of the show was the finale, when in the glass pyramid in the middle of the floor projected a small hologram of light. The light then began to tranform into a figure of a woman in a flowing dress (which can be compared to a jellyfish). Once the gossamer material of the dress blew away from the woman's face, it was revealed to be none other than Kate Moss. The crowd began to cheer as Kate danced in a way that could entrace the viewer. Sarah Mower states: "It was Kate Moss, her blonde hair and pale arms trailing in a dream-like apparition of fragility and beauty that danced for a few seconds, then shrank and dematerialized into the ether." Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL show. We love you Kate!
