cogito ergo sum.

today's class was boring beyond belief. first, we had a guest person in the class, taking notes on the professor's performance...so of course, what does he do but send me up to the board to derive an equation (probably because whenever i demonstrate something, it takes less time than when he does it, it's much more clear and concise, and more people follow my explanations than they do his. hmm, i should be a teacher...nah. waiting tables gives better pay, plus it's easy as fuck.) after that, i skipped out on the second half of class, since all we would be doing is asking questions on the homework that i had already finished. instead, i went to work and just sat there and did other homework, while eating bread and drinking dr pepper and just hanging out with the morning staff. fun stuff. then i came home. and now i'm here. bored. wishing that i and a certain person were in a certain other person's closet and/or bedroom
(if you don't know, don't ask, trust me...)

i didn't really want anything for my birthday, but then my mom mentioned an mp3 player...and now i want one. and will get one, most likely. so that's fun. and josh needs to read my comment on his journal, and respond either there, here, or on AIM.

guess how bored i am? that's right...bored enough that going to the DMV to get my lisence renewed actually sounds appealing enough to go do. wow. so off i go.

Low lie the fields of Athenry,
Where once we watched the small free birds fly
Our love was on the wing,
We had dreams and songs to sing
It's so lonely 'round the fields of Athenry

^extremely badass song, by the way.
