Friends and Enemies
Is there any truth to the saying: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Do you have enemies? Do you have more friends than enemies?
I would hardly wish to have kept Morgoth close, but then back when he was a threat there was one who was more immediate that I considered an enemy and I did watch him very closely, especially when it gave me chance it attack him. Russandol learned to be watchful of me as well, especially when I had access to knifes - or even forks.
I learnt to also keep a careful eye on dissident members of my royal council, even more so than the calmer members. The saying can be true enough because in keeping enemies close you have a greater likelihood of seeing attacks earlier.
Since my resurrection I have not had any I would call enemies and given such, the third question is somewhat pointless is it not?
