What is your weapon of choice?
When Sirion was sacked Cáno, in his remorse took my brother and I into his care.
At some point, before we left for Himring, he must have raided the house my family once lived in because later, when Elrond and I were older, he gave us swords he had retrieved (some may say "looted" but I hardly think it applies as he did give them to us).
Those two swords were once the ones that belonged to our grandparents, Tuor and Idril. As the elder, I was given Tuor's sword, the one that my father later owned, and Elrond was given Idril's.
I learnt how to fight with that sword, I fought through the war with that sword and it was always true to me.
I eventually carried it to Andor with me and it became the sword of the king, passed on to Vardamir when I felt death come upon me.
Having read the history of my kingdom since my death, my best guess is that it stayed the sword of the king and was most likely lost when my foolish descendant tried to invade the Undying Lands.
Maybe it was eventually returned to it's first bearer, my grandfather, who I do believe lives to this day in Valinor.
