I disagree. See, the video is clearly gonna be better b/c the woman can hardly speak English so they have to rig it together with shitloads of b-roll footage and slow-mo bullshit. But song-wise, I think a lot of people who say they like the german better are just trying to sound cultured or 'smart' or something. Honestly it's the same song. The same. They just change the voice track and put in the same singer. Singing the same words. The same notes. The only difference is that the English one we, as primary English speakers, understand. So while I think it's all 'cool' (and always has been, btw) to say you prefer the 'original' b/c it's supposedly more authentic or makes you cultured or w/e, the fact is they just aren't different enough to really dislike either.

the production on the German version of the SONG is just better.

and there's no denying that, sorry. all of the sound is more rich and it's just better to listen to.
