CUTE PUPPIES!
...Got your attention, didn't it?
Ok, so over the past few months, I've been seeing more and more guys with cute little puppies (labs, retrievers, etc), either walking them on leashes or carrying them. And they're ALWAYS just outside the student union or in other heavily trafficed areas. And these guys don't even look like students. They just have dogs.
Of course, its obvious what they're doing. Their actions are based on the simple facts that:
a.) Puppies are cute.
b.) People, specifically women, like cute things.
Ergo, get a cute puppy, get a girl...or so their reasoning goes.
It would be brilliant if it weren't so flawed.
For example,
1. College girls are BUSY. Yeah, they'll stop quickly to pet the dog but they're going to move on.
2. The guys with the dogs aren't the best looking (hello! They need dogs to get attention).
3. Why would a woman date/sleep with you because of a dog? Where's the connection between dog and sex?
It also makes me concerned about what these guys are doing with the dogs once they stop being cute puppies? Sell them to Korean restaurants?
Anyone ever see this anywhere else?
