TV SHOWS **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
Doctor Who Special: Still not seen any yet - perhaps over Xmas?
Fellow Travelers: Going to binge watch this at a later date
Happiness: This is a Korean 12 episode complete series about a failed COVID drug that was released to help with ADHD instead BUT it had not been fully tested and the drug made people thirsty - so thirsty the only thing that will sate their thirst is human blood. They literally go mad, looking like zombies, but then come back to themselves until the point where the virus takes full control. The story is about someone who is scratched but seems to have a natural immunity. She has just moved into a new apartment with her 'husband' - a fake/not fake marriage of convenience to get enough points to have an apartment in this prestigious complex - when all hell breaks loose and the complex is quarantined. There are the usual mix of characters - nice people, bad people, those who take advantage of a situation, those who show kindness, and that grey area in between. Her immunity is weakening though and the guy in charge of finding a cure does not want it to be in the hands only of the rich - who will use it to their advantage - love when he turns the tables on the nasty CEOs. He helps her escape with the remaining vial so she can use to to save her husband, who she has realized means everything to her and yet she uses the final cure to save the mother of a child instead. Her reasoning is that she cannot be the ONLY PERSON with some immunity, and sure enough there is another guy and they get the cure for everyone. Overall a really good 'zombie apocalypse' style drama with a happy ending :)
