BOOKS/FAN STUFF **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
FANFICTION: I have started reading the stories posted into the SGA Secret Santa 2023 collection that interest me. All have been good so far :)
BOOKS: I have not yet started Surviving the Evacuation Part 9: Ireland by Frank Tayell.

MOVIES and FANVIDS **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
I've decided to put anything I watch under a cut so no-one gets unintentionally spoiled, plus it means I can be more open about what I viewed :)
MOVIES:
Ghosted: I had no idea what this movie was going to be about but picked it up as Marwan Kenzari had a role in it. At first I thought it was a little 'Hallmark' style movie with Chris Evans... and then all the action started! It was a fun ride with some fun cameos from Sebastian Stan, Ryan Reynolds, John Cho and Anthony Mackie. Marwan's character was pretty interesting though it was strange listening to him trying an English accent. He has such a lovely voice so I missed that. His character was fun though, right to the end. Overall I enjoyed the movie; the action sequences were very good and Chris and Ana de Armas played off each other brilliantly :) Definitely needed to 'get a room'.

TV SHOWS **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
Doctor Who Special: Still not seen any yet - perhaps over Xmas?
Fellow Travelers: Going to binge watch this at a later date
Our Flag Means Death: Finally saw season 2 all in one sitting - yes, I should have been doing over things but I was feeling burned out on both home stuff and fandom stuff! Really enjoyed it, especially the running towards each other on the beach killing anyone who got between them moment! Taika Waititi mentioned there may not be a season 3 as the show wrapped up very nicely in season 2. I do agree it was a lovely, sweet and satisfying ending for Ed and Stede.
Squid Game (reality show): The final episode aired and I have to admit I really didn't want that lady to win, which is a mean thing to say but she had not come across as a particularly nice person. Admittedly they may have edited the show to pick out her worst moments to put her in a bad light, but the guy she beat in the final came across as such a nice person in comparison.
