This is a low-pressure challenge to write a fic of any length for a fandom that previously had none. Moon and Son was a shortlived UK series from 1992 that I enjoyed watching at the time. I can recall reading only one other story for this show more than a decade ago but it was in a fanzine.

MOVIES and FANVIDS **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
I've decided to put anything I watch under a cut so no-one gets unintentionally spoiled, plus it means I can be more open about what I viewed :)
MOVIES:
Alone (aka Final Days): This is a pandemic movie starring Tyler Posey (Scott in Teen Wolf) and it is IDENTICAL to a Korean movie I saw months ago called #Alive as they were both based on the same script and both released in 2020. A guy wakes up one morning to find the world has gone to hell with a new 'zombie' pandemic turning people into blood-thirsty cannibals. He is stuck in his apartment, 3-4 floors up and just when he is about to give up all hope he discovers there is a pretty girl surviving in the apartment opposite. They start up a friendship and eventually he has to rescue her when the infected get into her apartment. It's not a bad movie but overall I prefer the Korean version which became a Netflix hit.
FANVIDS: Nothing this week

TV SHOWS **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
Invasion: So far I have been enjoying the second season though I had almost forgotten what happened in the first. I thought the kids would be really annoying but I liked the episode with them going through the Channel Tunnel. So glad they only had to run a short distance for their lives and a French worker heard them before they set off the explosions to seal that end of the tunnel. The storyline with Mitsuki is really interesting too along with the revelation that the alien is asking why the humans are attacking it. Did 'we' inadvertently start the invasion/war?
The Walking Dead - Daryl Dixon: I really enjoyed the second episode, especially with all the backstory for the Nun and the boy, showing how she survived those first days and why they consider the boy a miracle. Lots of great moments too with zombies. Worst part was seeing what happened to the donkey :(
The Wheel of Time: I caught up on another two episodes and, damn, I wish I could binge watch this show rather than have to wait a week to see what happens next! It has been really gripping, especially with what has happened to Egwene and other female channelers, with the horror about to be repeated with another of the Aes Sedai who gave herself up to protect Nynaeve and Elayne! I am so glad Rand is on his way to try to save Egwene though it looks like he will have to meet with the head of the Aes Sedai first.
