Fandom Update
CURRENT FANDOM CHALLENGES:
When I have had the time I have been working hard on the graphic challenges. One of the landcomms has now finished and the other has about a month to run. I've also had a go at The June Something though I didn't have time to go over the final day's worth of questions yet. I will post it up though - maybe later today or tomorrow.

I worked on Challenge 16: Unbirthday. There was only one person I could not create for as they requested FIC only and it was already after midnight for the deadline day! I am almost halfway through Challenge 14 (requires a lot of work!) and managed to do the word search challenge quickly.

I created icons for the final round of COLOR BATTLE. This was the final challenge of this phase, thankfully. The mod wants ot do 'between phase' challenges but I will let that go as I am so far behind on other challenges due to the intensity of this phase.

Most of the following will have to wait until I make the time to think it all through:
1. Scan/Upload clippings and other articles:
2. Reduce the overall number of files: All the file reduction paid off! Everything transferred to the one web hosting space, now taking up 168,608/250,000 inodes (file/directory markers), whereas before I ran out of inodes which is why I had to buy more webspace! I have enough inodes to keep adding to the galleries for now :) Eventually I need to look at reducing the file count on ALL the websites so I can consider moving everything to a cheaper deal as the current one costs almost double the one I let go but gives me more features and unlimited GBs... just not enough inodes!
3. Sort out the eFiction archives:

5. Add items to empty albums: Ongoing on the David Hewlett archive as I did add a few things I found in the directories during the site move and for art challenges.

David Hewlett Archive: Updates
Icons added for Dark Matter, Foolproof and Haunter.
After a few hours of headache-inducing work trying to figure out why I could not see the website using its domain name,
squidgiepdx gave me an ideal and one rebooted router later it was all there :)
TO DO:
- complete set up of the domain name (davidhewlett.co.uk) - DONE
- eventually, reduce the file count in the Stargate Atlantis and SG1, and Traders directories.
- add more new images/screen caps! I found directories full of images I had not sorted through. I made time for some of them but others require a bigger block of time (the rest of SGA Season 2!) so will have to wait for now.

BOOKS/FAN STUFF **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
FANFICTION: Had a chance to read a few Joe/Nicky, The Old Guard stories.
BOOKS: I have started on Surviving the Evacuation Part 8: Anglesey by Frank Tayell. I'm about 2/3 through.

TV SHOWS and MOVIES **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
MOVIES:
San Andreas: I re-watched this the other night while monitoring my sick cat (He is doing better now). It's a good movie with some great disaster scenes and a poignant back story that makes you care about the characters. The drowning scene in the building always makes me choke up, and the small wail the mother gives when it looks like their daughter is dead. There are other scenes that choke me up. When Ollie is clutching hold of Blake in fear during an aftershock. He is just a kid and so scared, wanting to go home.
FANVIDS: Nothing this week

TV SHOWS:
Dead City: Negan said he was only a monster when he needed to be a monster to make a point, whereas the guy who has Maggie's son is a monster all the time. We saw that in this episode when Negan gets the 'bad guys' off the tail of the small group they had come across. I must admit I was half expecting the group to say they put them in the bathroom 'to chill' because they knew they would talk to each other and they'd be able to overhear. Certainly there was a very frank discussion between Maggie and Negan.
Star-Crossed: I put another episode behind me. It's a little too cliche for my taste but as there are only the final 4 episodes I will keep on watching and see how it ends - hopefully not an unresolved cliffhanger. Castor has proved himself the bad guy but has now sown seeds of distrust against Roman so he can get Roman out of the way and claim leadership of their people.
