Challenge 16 was guessing video games from a set of 40 icons. Now, I am no gamer but my kids are, so I begged a little help, and then did some digging through google to find as many exact matches as possible for those they were not sure about. I was sadly unsurprised by how many the kids recognized as they are ALWAYS playing games! I decided against working on Challenge 12 and opted to use Golden Tickets.

WEBSITES: - Nothing this week
Most of the following will have to wait until I make the time to think it all through.
1. Scan/Upload clippings and other articles: I have folders containing stuff to upload and lots of magazine articles I found when going through all my old magazines that I want to scan/upload eventually.
2. Reduce the overall number of files: I need to let go of ONE of the web spaces to save some money in future. It's another major undertaking as it will be a time consuming task. This must be a priority as money is going to get tight soon! I have at least a year's grace in which to work on this, but time does seem to go so quickly. I noticed a lot of the existing screen caps are old and small so I may re-do them - where it is beneficial.
3. Sort out the eFiction archives: Nothing done this week. All my own stories were uploaded to AO3 years ago. What remains are stories written by other fans, and sadly I know a few have moved on - or passed on. Doing this will help bring down the number of files on the sites too.
4. Make sites mobile friendly: No progress this week
5. Add items to empty albums: Nothing this week

FANFICTION: Still slowly reading through all The Old Guard Joe/Nicky stories and still focusing mainly on AUs.
BOOKS: Still not started on Surviving the Evacuation book 7 by Frank Tayell
TV SHOWS and MOVIES: **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****
MOVIES:
Ferocious Planet: This is the usual SyFy channel fare of bad CGI monsters but the story line was good and it had Joe Flanigan as Colonel Sam Synn... and he looked really good in this! Lots of silliness, people getting chomped, a little tragedy and some comeuppance, and a very open-ended ending where you don't know for sure if they got back to their own dimension/universe.
FANVIDS: Nothing this week

TV SHOWS:
9-1-1: I adore Bobby and Athena, and it was a good episode with a great end to that particular story arc, but I really missed the usual format. I missed seeing Buck and Eddie, Hen and Karen, Chim and Maddie... especially Buck and Eddie! I missed seeing them rescue people from difficult situations, with the sirens and fire truck. I'm sure it will be back to usual format next week.
Chicago Med: It was okay but I'm really not feeling this show anymore no matter how hard I try to like it. All the melodrama overshadows the medical cases.
Drag Race UK: We watched the first two episodes of the new season that introduced all the new UK queens. I have actually seen one of them - Cheddar Gorge - when we went to Lincoln Pride a few months back :) The second episode was very good and I felt happy with the queen asked to leave - Starlet is gorgeous but so bland/robotic. She has more personality out of drag! I have a 3rd episode not yet watched.
The Great British Bake Off: Mexican Week, and I don't recall any of them truly shining in the signature except Maxy (I think). She deserved to win Star Baker and the two who were asked to leave the tent were the right choice... though I bet it was a close call between Carole and Jamie. I really thought Paul was going to give Dawn a handshake for her Tre Leche cake. It looked lovely and tasted wonderful according to both judges.
Interview With The Vampire: I enjoyed the second episode. I always LOVED Tom Cruise in the role of Lestat and always saw him when I read the books by Anne Rice. This version of Lestat started off a little bland in comparison but I am gradually starting to like his portrayal. I do love the new version of Louis though! Also love that they have not shied away from the homoeroticism of the books.
La Brea: I'm wondering why they are digging that particular rock. Interesting how Silas got Gavin into the mining camp... though he did give him a map of the tunnels so he can find Eve and Levi and get them out.
New Amsterdam: An awful episode for subject matter with all those people complicit in a child wedding. So it is not illegal to hodl a child wedding... but I wonder how many of the 'grooms' wait until the age of consent. Really sick stuff! I coudl understand Max, Iggy, etc wanting to go home and hug their families.
Outcast: Didn't manage to watch any episodes this week
Professor T: No new episode until Oct 14th
See: It felt a little like a filler episode but this was also a build up to the finale. Tormada knows he cannot trust Sibeth. Maghra is leading the people of Pensa to safetly through the tunnels using Harlan's map... and Baba Voss had donned battle armor and is now heading out with Ranger to kill Sibeth once and for all! I'm lookign forward to seeing next week's episode.
She-Hulk: I feel so sorry for her hulking out at the end of the gala, all because of that lowlife scum, Josh, who cloned her phone. Next week is the season finale so it will be interesting to see how they come back from this. I wonder if Bruce will be in it to stand by her.
