I made a concerted effort to clear as many of these as I could as I need to focus on my Old Guard BB story from today. I may make more use of my 'golden tickets' to skip some challenges. I've also decided to make this my last phase. I like the challenges but I find there are too many, too close together, with too short a deadline, and with little respite between phases, so I never feel I have enough time to do more than slap something together. If this was the only challenge I was involved in then it wouldn't be a problem... but I am stretching myself too thin, too often. Something has to give.

WEBSITES: - Nothing this week
Most of the following will have to wait until I make the time to think it all through.
1. Scan/Upload clippings and other articles: I have folders containing stuff to upload and lots of magazine articles I found when going through all my old magazines that I want to scan/upload eventually.
2. Reduce the overall number of files: I need to let go of ONE of the web spaces to save some money in future. It's another major undertaking as it will be a time consuming task. This must be a priority as money is going to get tight soon! I have at least a year's grace in which to work on this, but time does seem to go so quickly. I noticed a lot of the existing screen caps are old and small so I may re-do them - where it is beneficial.
3. Sort out the eFiction archives: Nothing done this week. All my own stories were uploaded to AO3 years ago. What remains are stories written by other fans, and sadly I know a few have moved on - or passed on. Doing this will help bring down the number of files on the sites too.
4. Make sites mobile friendly: A little progress but as this is a major site restructure, I won't start this until I know what I need to do! It will require substantial free time to figure out what is required and learn how to code it. I have a few ideas. An ex-work colleague suggested I look at CSS Flexi and Grid. I have worked out code for sliding menus and hope to find time to check out WordPress soon (thanks
xworks!)
5. Add items to empty albums: Nothing this week

TV SHOWS:
I have given up on NCIS. I have been struggling to find the enthusiasm to watch the show for the last couple of seasons and realized I had no interest in seeing the resolution to last season's cliff hanger.
9-1-1: Worrying conclusion to the episode where it looks like Athena's dad might be hiding a terrible secret. Of course there might be a reason why we were introduced to Athena's old friend, whose father was a builder... I felt so sad for Hen. She has tried so hard but simply took on too much. I hate that she has to choose between giving up and re-doing her second year.
Chicago Med: Looks like the new intern is a piece of work. Hope Crockett doesn't regret pushing baxck against the complaint. Once more Will is jumping in with both feet before taking the time to 'diagnose' the situation. Glad Drs Asher and Charles were more thorough and stopped a child being torn from his physically rather than mentally sick mother. I'm not sure why I am bothering to watch this show as I'm not enjoying it that much.
The Great British Bake Off: Bread week! I am so glad I called it that no one would go home this week but TWO will go next week as it would not have been fair otherwise with two people not competing. I already have favorites among the bakers, though everyone seems so nice :)
Interview With The Vampire: The first episode of this new take on Anne Rice's book has dropped and even though the story is set a little differently to what I can recall, I quite enjoyed it. I like that it hasn't whitewashed Daniel's previous Interview but given a logical explanation for why 30+ years have passed.
La Brea: Good opening episode and I am wondering how the new Hollywood sign opening will affect the timeline. Also, what is inside the building. Also, I wonder if the new group of men (slavers?) are more displaced time travellers.
New Amsterdam: I guess this episode was about being alone. I thought it funny that Martin had to show Iggy where he had gone wrong on the dating app - only interested in people 90+. Sad they are getting divorced. Felt sorry for Max going it alone again but at least he is starting to reach out again. I liked the idea for helping others by allowing people to make a gift to help people with specific needs.
Outcast: This is a little bit like The Exorcist. Evil is after Kyle Barnes since he was a child as there is something different about him. Now he is working with Reverend Anderson to try to exorcise demons. I've watched the first two episodes so far and it's been pretty good overall.
Professor T: Another interesting and tragic case ultimately. Poor Jasper trying to open up to a therapist and now an intimacy specialist. I wasn't so keen on his treatment of that poor dog, leaving it up on the roof all alone for possibly hours.
See: I thought this week was the final episode as I had it in my head each season was 6 episodes... but it is 8! Interesting seeing Tormada (David Hewlett) joining forces with Sibeth... and was not surprised at the way Sibeth 'thanked' Maddox(?) for his service, knowing she trusted Tormada more than him.
She-Hulk: I must be a pessimist as I saw the 'boyfriend' thing coming a mile off but hoped he would turn out to be a nice guy. The 'retreat' was a lot of fun though.
