WEBSITES:

Most of these will have to wait until I have far more free time to think it all through.

1. Scan/Upload clippings and other articles: I have folders containing stuff to upload and lots of magazine articles I found when going through all my old magazines that I want to scan/upload eventually.

2. Reduce the overall number of files: I need to let go of ONE of the web spaces to save some money in future. It's another major undertaking as it will be a time consuming task. This must be a priority as money is going to get tight soon! I have at least a year's grace in which to work on this, but time does seem to go so quickly. I noticed a lot of the existing screen caps are old and small so I may re-do them - where it is beneficial.

3. Sort out the eFiction archives: Nothing done this week. All my own stories were uploaded to AO3 years ago. What remains are stories written by other fans, and sadly I know a few have moved on - or passed on. Doing this will help bring down the number of files on the sites too.

4. Make sites mobile friendly: No progress but as this is a major site restructure, I won't start this until I know what I need to do! It will require substantial free time to figure out what is required and learn how to code it. I have a few ideas. An ex-work colleague suggested I look at CSS Flexi and Grid.

NEW - 5. Add items to empty albums: I really dislike seeing empty albums on the website galleries but even now I simply don't have time to spend hunting for articles, images, or creating graphics (art, wallpapers, icons) for every character for 4 websites. Still I will try to add something each week, even if it's just a couple of icons.

Please remember to check out the GALLERY and FICTION archives for any new items/stories posted as I don't tend to change the website UPDATE pages for these.

Books/Fanfiction **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****

FANFICTION: Still slowly reading through all The Old Guard Joe/Nicky stories but I've been focusing on AUs recently.

BOOKS: Still not started on Surviving the Evacuation book 7 by Frank Tayell

TV SHOWS and MOVIES: **** POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT ****

MOVIES: Nothing this week.

FANVIDS: Nothing this week.

******************

TV SHOWS: So many of the shows I am currently watching have gone stale for me. I hate giving up on a show but some are now on my on borrowed time list where if they don't rekindle my enjoyment then they will be dropped. That's not something I can do easily or lightly. Only a few shows have reached that point in the past - Castle and Bones. Others survived or will survive the culling only because they had an expiry/end date!

9-1-1 Lone Star: So I'm not enamoured with the new Paul-Marjan subplot... though I did like the crazy cat lady incident. Interestign explanation for it! Felt sad for the Macaw having a ringside seat to all the misery of Owen's marriage breaking up. I am glad Owen realized what he had done and was trying to make amends before the poor thing died.

Chicago Med: I'm glad Will Halstead didn't succumb to peer pressure to donate all the reward money, especially when he was struggling under so much debt. Overall it wasn't a bad episode but not particularly memorable either.

Hidden: Nothing this week.

Locke & Key: Waiting for when 'N' has time to watch the new season (2) with me. I've heard it is really good.

NCIS: Yet another 'daughter at work' episode. The plot was okay but the daughter was pretty annoying in her attitude and deserved to get a reprimand for disobeying orders. Glad she won't be a permanent member of the team and has been reassigned elsewhere - and for good reasons. She really shouldn't work under her dad's chain of command!

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 14: Need to DL this week's episode.

The Good Doctor: I'm glad Shaun and Lea have made up. I agree with Shaun that Salen has turned everyone into worse doctors, taking stupid risks with people's lives just to monitor profits. Glad so many are on Lim's side to form a 'resistance' but it's so annoying that this is the same story line currently in New Amsterdam - do they all share writers because they always seem to have the same ideas/plots? It happens too often in similar shows. I'm waiting for Chicago Med to have that same plot as well now. At least there is enough medical drama going on to balance out the melodrama or this one might nudge up higher on my on borrowed time list.

The Walking Dead: So... pieces are falling into place with the 'real Stephanie' (aka Madds?) coming forward who happens to be the sister of the Secuirty head (guy in orange armor). Felt sorry for Maggie - she was put in an awkward position and has learned not to trust too quickly - not until she knows what the true agenda and the cost will be. Felt sad her losing some of her people but couldn't blame them for wanting a safer life. I'm interested to see how all this will eventually tie in with World Beyond, or if that will come into play in the Daryl-Carol spin off show that's been mooted. Part of me is so glad this show is on its last season. It hasd been a good run with some memorable moments but I haven't enjoyed it half as much without a dose of Rick/Daryl!

TV SHOWS STILL TO WATCH - These are all the shows I have collected but have yet to watch.
