I like this idea very much. I've always thought that John's coin toss came after he'd already decided to go.

I hope he still waits a moment before he tells Rodney how he sees him. *lol*

Nice look on the John-Jack relationship and why John was able to decide in such a short time if he wanted to go to Atlantis or not. And I love Rodney's thoughts about always having a crush on the wrong person. *g*

John always struck me as a man of action, making hard decisions quickly and accepting he consequences-as that is what gave him that black mark in the first place!

As for Princess Rodney...oh yeah, he may have to hide that or risk Rodney explaining just who was the princess of Atlantis :D

I adore Antarctic stories where John and Rodney meet for the first time... and John, of course, remembers the orange fleece... ;-)

That's an interesting thought of the gate as a fairy tale ring... and Rodney is the princess.... LOLOLOL...
