You always do a great job with writing from Rodney's POV :)

I really liked the opening and the conversation while Rodney was climbing; and of course, the deal making in the infirmary.

typo: busk it --> bus it

Thanks!

It was going to be a longer story (and slash!) but the deadline for the sg_prompts challenge is tomorrow and I'd more or less run out of time! Still, I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out!

I think you could say it had slash or pre-slash overtones. :)

Nice story.

Just one question. When did the folks over at fanfic100 allow substitution of prompts? On my table #81 is How. Just curious, me. Probably something I have in common with Rodney.

Thank you!

I don't think they do allow substitution of prompts...but I've had my table a loooonnnngggg time! (at least a couple of years *wince*). Maybe they changed a few entries! I've never thought to go back to compare my table with what's there now, just copy/pasted the one that was there at the time I started. Of course, now I'm intrigued!

OK: Mine/Current table
075. Shattered/Shade
081. Paralysis/How
082. Disease/If
083. Agony/And
084. Healing/He
085. Blind/She
088. Missing/School
089. Lost/Work
090. Found/Home
091. Christmas/Birthday
092. Solstice/Christmas

Have to admit that I prefer the OLD values more!

Yeah, they are pretty useless prompts!

Aww, that's sweet.

I'm a total sucker for woobie!Rodney, but the element I loved most about this was the way John held his body all tight with guilt at his "get Rodney fit plan" gone awry, then how he loosened up because they'd sorted it out.

Poor John really thought he was doing Rodney a favor, I'm sure! Glad you enjoyed this one :)

Awww! I love John and Rodney's friendship and you write it so beautifully. The bargaining at the end is priceless. GLOMP!

LOL! Poor John only thought he was doing Rodney a favor by helping him keep fit! He just overestimated Rodney's ability to climb large boulders! At least Rodney knew how to work that guilt trip to his advantage :)
