January has been exhausting for me with too much going on both ON and OFFLINE for me to wrap my head around writing. I've mostly vegetated in front of the TV instead.

FANFICTION: Not read anything this week.
BOOKS: I still have Surviving the Evacuation Part 9: Ireland by Frank Tayell to start reading.

TV SHOWS:
Cutie Pie: I watched a couple more episodes but I am still struggling with it :(
Dead Boy Detectives: not seen any this week
Guardian: I've seen so many recommendations for this series but was put off by a lot of people finding the ending unsatisfactory. Anyway, I am now 12 episodes in and though it did not grab me from the start (like Word of Honor) I am intrigued to see where it is going... plus the gay vibes are strong in this one as the series was derived from a BL novel by Priest - the same author who wrote faraway Wanderers (Word of Honor). It's a modern fantasy show about gods, ghosts, and supernatural investigations. Professor Shen Wei (Black-Cloaked Envoy of the 'Underworlders') is so obviously yearning after Zhao Yunlan (leader of the Special Investigation Division) who is the reincarnation of his soulmate.
Mr. Plankton: not seen any this week
The Great Pottery Throwdown: I loved the challenge this week - making Noah's Ark with 5 pairs of animals. Some of them were so very good and a couple of them I really wanted :) The choice of who to leave was really close as both potters had problems but in the end it came down to whose coiling (building by using ropes of clay) was the best.
