Twilight Movie

On Tuesday I went to watch the twilight movie. I hadn’t very high expectations of it, because of all the critiques I read. Well I think it wasn’t that bad, but it wasn’t really good either. Some parts I like a lot, some I disliked and at some points I had to laugh hard even if it was supposed to be a serious scene.

I liked the second part of the movie, beginning with the baseball game. From there on everything fit together and you could really get into the story.

The beginning of the movie was confusing and the scenes were loosely put together. The plot was moving a way too fast and some scenes I considered elemental in the books were missing or totally butchered (the meadow scene for example). I think it’s a pity because the first part of the book (and the film of course) where Edward and Bella learn to know each other is the more important part and the quiddity of the whole story.

I also dislike how the vampire capabilities were pictured. The animation could have been different and much better.

Looking at the characters, I learned to like Kristen Stewart. I think she did a good job. I think Robert Pattinson was acting great as Edward but I still don’t like his face. And I still can’t picture Edward looking like him. From some points of view he looks like a Neanderthal man - sorry!

Carlisle, Jasper and Jake were horrible. How could they deface them so much?! And when I saw Esme I always had to think about Rebecca from Grey’s Anatomy.
But I can live with all the other actors. I think they fit well even if I imagined all of them slightly different.

But the best of the whole movie is the music. I just love the soundtrack and the score!!!

Well I think how bad the next movie might be, I’ll definitely cry my eyes out. And because I’m naturally a nosy person I’m going to watch it, as I did this one.
