So i had broken in my Breads of the World grimoire a couple of weeks ago, starting with baguettes. It's been 2 weeks and I have yet to find the amount of magic it takes to get these sticks properly proper. I've got the steam and the yeast working right I think..[crust is crispy, fluffing up okay.. SOMETIMES] but if that was the case, i wouldn't have ended up with 2 weeks of weirdo breads. today i finally looked up baguettes online only to find that these are not necessarily the type of breads one would want to start on their bread baking endeavours. Oh well. I've always loved learning to run before walking, regardless if it's done me any good or not. Long live my baguette search for greatness!
