I'm in the middle of yet another all-nighter, in my office this time, so at least I have a real desk to sit at. The good news, though, is that I'm finished the most difficult bits of my lecture - explaining the late-medieval conception of religion as the community of believers, and then making the German Peasants' War, a topic about which I know next to nothing, work as an example of that. Now, all that remains is explaining the French Wars of Religion in 2300 words or less.

Then, I get to go home, maybe to bed, but probably only for a shower. Then, giving this lecture. Then, Haskins. Then ladybird97 arrives! Then, more Haskins! But it is probably going to be a long time before I'm reunited with my nice, cozy sleeping bag on my sufficiently comfy floor.

One day, I swear, I'm going to get furniture again. And get a real night's sleep the night before a lecture.

Oh, and in research news, today I did read over the two conference papers I'm hoping to turn into my second article.
