(no subject)
I'm back! Or rather, I've been here the whole time, doing other things like attending my reunion and visiting my grandparental units and keeping the gardens watered and making slow progress at all the work I need to finish this month and lurking on the internets. My course outline and syllabus-blurb are now advisor R approved, and I'm in the process of deciding on readings, to be followed next week by the first phases of lecture-writing.
Then, there are the article revisions, and the databasifying, and the list of dissertation chapters, and the other research... I think it's time for a new to-do list.
To do today:
• Check bank accounts
• Pay phone bill and make visa payment
• Call grandpapa about return of his car tomorrow
• Text maternal unit
• Water gardens [in progress]
• Wash and fold laundry
• Email advisor R re: course outline
• Go down to Kelowna this afternoon I HAVE ARRIVED
• Sign out Mapping the Renaissance World, others from UBC
• Go and work at OC library for afternoon
• Pick up dad at airport late this evening
• Work on article revisions for two, two oops, one-hour bursts [first hour down]
• Finish deciding on readings from textbook
• Read on Dino Compagni, Giovanni de Piano Carpini as possible reading assignments
• Locate article on Isabella d'Este and Africans [in UBCO library]
• Read article on Isabella d'Este and Africans
• Read on Mapping the renaissance World as possible reading assignment HELLZ TO THE NO ON USING AS A READING ASSIGNMENT
• Work on databasifying
Uggggh, I need coffee. I cannot has coffee until I leave for Kelowna, though, and before I do that, I have to be productive, and also have lunch. Onward!
