I'm still here after my night of translation, which actually concluded sometime around 4:30. Then I went to bed until ten (I'm not sure I actually fell asleep, but I probably did), got up, checked everything over and sent it all of to prof FM shortly after eleven. Now I'm shakily eating tofu-ricotta tortellini from a pouch (or rather, I've put the contents of the pouch in a bowl), contemplating how best to approach the rest of my day and its to-do list, and nervously awaiting a reply from prof FM. I also just bought my train ticket to Paris for my trip home! In any case, I'll probably drag myself to the archives for the afternoon, and deal with my growing laundry crisis with some sink-laundry. I can power through to my inevitable pre-travelling laundry session with some selective handwash, but my time in the archives is limited. Or so I keep telling myself, as I encourage myself to make good life choices despite lack of sleep.
The other thing is that given the latest round of DDoS attacks on livejournal, I'm in the process of semi-migrating to dreamwidth, where my username is monksandbones. I haven't posted anything there yet, but I'm planning to at least import and back up my livejournal, which will probably involve crossposting. I haven't decided quite yet what to do with this journal in the long term - it's been my home on the internet for just about nine years, and I'm pretty attached to it. Not only that, but I don't want to bail out over the inconvenience of service interruptions when the Russian userbase, against whom the attacks are directed, are actually having their freedom of speech threatened. So I don't know, but I'll keep those of you who are still around informed.
