(no subject)
Ugh. I'm having a hellacious bus trip - currently ten hours into what should have been a seven hour trip to Montreal, with approximately four more to go, at which point I'll have to wait a couple of hours in Montreal for the last bus to Sherbrooke, where I'll arrive, if I'm lucky, by one AM. After less than three hours of sleep last night, I'm very nearly weeping at the prospect. And although I made serious progress on my paper while I was sitting on the floor of the bus terminal in Manchester, NH for three hours this morning, it's not done and I currently think it's terrible.
And soon I'm going to have to get off the 100% full bus and stuff myself into a small room with everyone else while we all go through customs.
I really wish, at this point, that I hadn't come, or at least that I'd decided to cut my losses and get a new ticket and come tomorrow.
