On the twelfth day of Christmas,
tarimanveri sent to me...
Twelve cartularies drumming
Eleven vikings cooking
Ten footnotes a-baking
Nine capetians writing
Eight languages a-daydreaming
Seven bretons a-running
Six books a-reading
Five hu-u-u-ugging trees
Four back-stabbing angevins
Three canadian politics
Two vancouver canucks
...and a music in a cultural history.
This entertains me greatly!
Anyway, today I'm going to bake this year's Santa cookies, from the dough Morgayne prepared last night, and then the 75% of the siblings of the House of Maybe who have made it home this year will decorate them with egg whites dyed with red food colouring, followed by a visit to Nana's to apply icing and coconut.
But the first two steps are having a shower and waiting for the coffee to finish manifesting itself. It takes a lot longer to brew 12 cups than my usual one-that-is-technically-three.
