I am packed, I am ingesting caffeine, I am headed to the airport in another hour and a half. I actually did most of my packing last night, which despite taking until 1:00 am, has had the pleasant side effect of a relatively leisurely pre-departure morning. Probably I shouldn't be feeling as leisurely now as I am, but I am actually talking to Marek, live from Nancy, so I don't actually care that I still have to do many dishes and pack my running clothes and last few toiletries.
Packing last night also meant that I could go for a run this morning, which I did, after a pitched battle against the don't-wannas. Happily, I seem to have run off enough of the nerves that I no longer feel like my digestive system is going to explode (or implode), unlike most of the last couple of days.
Anyway, I don't know what my internet is going to be like when I arrive, or whether I'm going to be able to resist the expensive airport wireless during my almost-six hour layover this afternoon in Montreal. My offer of postcards in my last (friendslocked and comment-screened) entry still stands, if you haven't replied yet. I'm sure I won't be gone too long, because if internet is available somewhere, you know me. I'll find it!
But now, the pile of dishes awaits. A bientôt!
