I have to say, it is possibly the most genius video ever. I forget whether I've posted it here before, but have it again, just in case.
Not to mention that I can see an awesome cultural history paper coming out of it in about thirty years.
I may have deeper musings about the election, and my feelings about it as a Canadian entering my seventh year of living as a "nonresident" in the United States, but right now, I have to go back to working on my paper. I must say, however, that I'm feeling particularly fond of my American friends of all political stripes at the moment, and I think you all deserve huge *squishes*.
Finally, one more bit of amusement: there's a large statue of Saint Ignatius of Loyola on campus, as befits my current institution's status as a Jesuit school. Today, Saint Ignatius was sporting an unconventional, although not entirely inappropriate, accessory. Yup, he was holding a lightsaber. It was excellent.
