I, along with both my roommates, am now bodily installed in my apartment, although still lacking somewhat in accoutrements. However, all my stuff that came with me to Boston, as well as the stuff I've since acquired is here, and there is internet, and all is promising to be well.
I think I'm going bed-shopping tomorrow, though.
I'm also possibly taking a history-geek roadtrip to Lexington and Concord on Monday with Ethan, which would utterly rock.
My history department orientation today was okay. I was nearly slain by having to introduce myself, but I survived. I think I'll have to pre-prepare some things to say about myself before the next thing, though. Eep!
The next thing, by the way, is my meeting with the Graduate History Programme director Prof Q tomorrow morning at 11:20. I'll have to think as I consume the yogurt I'm about to consume and then wipe down my floor so I can inflate my air mattress and put my quilt down on it without getting it all floor-dusty.
Oh, and I've got the front bedroom in the apartment with all the windows - the only problem is that there's a steam radiator running along underneath them that makes one whole wall unusable for furniture. I'll have to ponder how to arrange it.
So much to do!
