vroom vroom vroom
so...i've decided to get a motorcycle.....and find a new job
first with the job-they put my ofc on a wage and salary freeze for a year which just sucks monkey butt. so i'm getting a new job...hmph......that is that
the motorcycle......am very excited about this......scares me to death, not because they are dangerous or anything, pshaw....just because and this is going to sound silly...but new things scare me. It takes me alot of courage to do something new, go somewhere new, especially by myself. But I think this will be good, because driving is cathartic to me, and i have always loved motorcycles, and its a good thing to put some money into. My father admitted to me that he had been thinking for the last couple years about getting a motorcycle, but decided "wisely" that he had too many "responsiblities" and i of course and laughed and said "yeah and i dont have any!" But my parents just seemed thoughtfully worried, wanted to make sure i got the right protection, not too big a bike, but not down right "no, i forbid it" which was damn cool.
i have been naturally telling everyone that i am going to get a motorcycle, most answer "oh god your insane." However, there have been a couple people that have inquired as to what kind of bike...to that I have to say I am thinking of a Suzuki SV 650, 99' or 2000' ...or a Honda Super Hawk (VTR 1000) 98' or 99'......someone whose name will remain unmentioned said those were too big for me (oh fuck off) and that i should look into a Buell Blast. OH MY GOD. AHHH Thats a girls bike! that is a wussy girls bike....i wanted to fall over. So i've been doing alot of research....hard decisions. Luckily a friend used to race motorcycles professionally in texas so he and i have been sitting down and talking motorcycles. Will quiz him some more tonight.
Well....im gonna go have a popsicle because i feel nauseous.
