Smallville: Another new clip for 10x08
The CW has posted a clip from Abandoned of Lois in the Fortress. While I would have preferred to see Clark tell the A.I. off himself, all I have to say to this is, you go, girl! I love that Lois is a Clark fan.
I have no idea what will happen next, if the show will validate Lois's words or try to convince us that Jor-El knows best, but either way I'll be happy we got this moment.
Your son needs a father who believes in him. I wish knowing that I loved him was enough. But Clark can't fully hear it with the ghost of your disappointment haunting him. You're stopping him from fulfilling his potential. He's an amazing man. He's a hero.
[silence] Really? Nothing? You know, you may not care about anybody else but yourself, but Clark does! And you are not one tenth the Kryptonian he is. He's lucky to be rid of you.
For the record, Clark does have a father who has always believed in him: Jonathan. I wish Clark didn't care what Jor-El thinks, but I understand why he does, and I don't fault him for that. And I'd be upset if Clark wasn't included in all this, but we see him in the Fortress in one of the other clips. I'm very curious to see how this scene plays out.
