Hmmm, I guess that was a big suprise.

I hope they are being used for a Clark scene. If its for a Lois scene, I think that would bother me, but I'm pretty sure thats what they are doing.

I guess we'll see if Clark is part of the scene, but I suspect it's just Lois. Which seems bizarre. Are they real, transported through time and space? Clones? A recording? Or some new A.I. trick?

I'm looking forward to scenes with Clark and Tess where they're on the same side! And Granny Goodness and Harriet have potential. I love Christine Willes, and I think Lindsay Hartley will be fun.

Thanks! But... ug!
So Jor-El is mean and horrible to Clark but then Lois can get a scene with both of Clark's parents???? And I guess she'll fly all by herself in next episode and... okay, everyone gets to do everything Clark should already be doing/getting.
Ug!

Do you seriously think they're going to have Lois fly in Isis?!

I want to know if we're going to see some version of the real Jor-El and Lara, or another extension of the A.I. If they're real, it would be cruel not to include Clark. If they're part of the A.I., I'd rather he stay as far away as possible!

Thanks for this news. I can´t really say I am excited about it. Although I have nothing against Sands, he was IMO miscast in Kandor. For me, he simply is not Jor-El. Wrong type. And Slater´s appearance in Blue fell totally flat for me. And, with Valerie, I am afraid that once again, Clark won´t interact with his "parents" at all. But let´s see...

I love Julian Sands, but I have a hard time seeing him as the father of Tom's Clark. Plus his character in Kandor was so wildly different from the A.I., which they never explained. Are we supposed to think the intervening years changed him that much, or is the A.I. really as corrupted as we've always thought?

I did think that Clark meeting his birth mother was touching, but Lara never seemed Kryptonian to me, if that makes sense. No display of superpowers, no arrogance, no indication that she was from a society whose belief system was rooted in science. She seemed like a nice, normal Earth mom to me.

I'm chuckling because I wonder if Ms. Slater was supposed to stay mum on these appearances.I wondered the same thing. Did they forget to give her the secrecy talk because they assumed no one was knocking down her door for interviews ( ... )

I was so puzzled when I saw the OD for Abandoned yesterday. lol

I have no idea what to make of it because I just can't think of a drastic decision that would bring Lois to the Fortress. And, I too, would be hugely disappointed if Clark didn't get to be part of that. But I don't think he'll be there for any of it. He'll be too busy with the orphanage stuff (which sounds cool).

Hey, I'm still trying to figure out how Lois even knows about the Fortress! ;) I'm kidding, of course, but I hope we get to see Clark sharing these formerly secret parts of his life with her.

I never know what to expect from this show, but of course several different scenarios have been running through my head. My biggest question is, if Clark's birth parents can appear in the Fortress, why has Clark been denied access to them? That seems unnecessarily cruel, but then again, we are talking about the A.I. here.

The more episodes we see, the more I appreciate the new structure of having only four series regulars (all of whom I love), with lots of guest stars. It really keeps things interesting!

Ooh, I like that spec! And I could totally see Lois doing that for Clark. It was outrageous that Jor-El took the suit from him, it has nothing to do with him!

I love how we all have icons of that rooftop moment. :)
