A couple of things.....
Hmm... random news.
Monday: I was sick... as I posted before.
Tuesday: Felt a little better on Tuesday, so I went in to work. Got a bright idea at about 9 am (after I'd been there about and hour) - hey, why don't I go to the doctor, now that I have insurance? Joe pretty much made me promise to do so if I didn't feel in top shape. So I called the doctor and got an appointment at 10:30. Went to doctor, who ran a strep (sp?) test (it wasn't Strep Throat), and when that came back negative, she freaked me out by wanting a Mono test. Fortunately, that came back negative as well. Then, she gave me a prescription for an antibiotic and a doctor's note - and told me to go home until Thursday. *sigh* There goes my paycheck - two days of work this week. Got a call from Shelly... Lacy passed away (read my earlier posts to hear more). In one way, it was terribly sad, but in another... it was time. She's not in pain anymore. She had gone home, and passed away in her mother's arms.
Wednesday: Spent most of the day laying around, then got ambitious and tried to finish taxes. Federal is already done, I just needed to do my State - of which I have 2 this year, since I moved. I managed to finish Indiana and start on Michigan before I called it a day. Watched Clerks, The Animated Series while I worked somewhat haphazardly on the character for Joe L's new FTF D&D game. Went to bed right before the last episode of Clerks. It was okay... had its moments... nowhere as good as the movie, though.
Thursday: Went to work, somewhat gladly. Spent time catching up on being out of office for three days. Came home, found a decent techno radio station on Windows Media Player (I tried looking for an Internet Anime/J-Pop station first, but the few sites I went to wanted you to pay, download their software, or create an account - none of which I felt like doing at the moment). Logged on to RPG Crossroads, updated my game and the games I'm playing. My posts were rather uninspired today, sadly. *sigh* Realized that I kept the people in the "Indigo Room" thread waiting way too long. *cringe* Go easy on me, I'm a new GM?
That's it for the moment... going to go dig up some grub and maybe watch a movie. Been depressed lately... what with Lacy and not feeling well... hopefully will be back to my old self soon.
