SHFLAKSFHAL!

AHLSFKAHS!

*incoherent*

1. Trailers:

Quite an assortment.  We saw trailers for Battleship, Brave, The Amazing Spiderman, Snow White and the Huntsman, things like that.

Not to mention, DARK KNIGHT RISES TRAILER HECK YES!

Wow Bruce, you uh... you look like you get a bit beaten down in this movie.  Please don't die or anything.

2. Experience At The Showing:

The theater was packed.  For a nine in the morning show.  And the showing after ours was sold out already.  This movie's gonna shatter box office records.  Awesome!  Hope it displaces Titanic and Avatar as the top-grossing films.

And of course said packed theater was a wonderful audience.

3. Cinematography:

The movie looked gorgeous.  Nothing was too shaky or confusing.  Plenty of clear shots.  There was this really awesome Long Tracking Shot in the final battle that was a-maz-ing.  Panned over each and every one of the Avengers in succession as they were awesome and badass.  Tres coolio.

4. Music:

I... honestly didn't really notice the music much.  But!  'twas composed by my love Alan Silverstri, so no complaints.

7. Characters:

HSAHFSLAKFHALSFKLKHFASA CAP AND THOR AND NATASHA AND TONY AND BRUCE AND EVERYONE!

Natasha was my favorite, unsurprisingly.  Hey, I gotta love me the awesome ladies.  She was just so hard-edge and cool and collected and completely in-control and amazing.

Thor was slightly more serious than in his solo movie, which was a little different.  I did kind of miss his goofiness.

Cap was Cap and I adore his Boy Scout goodness.  And his clashes with the self-absorbed Tony.  Oh Cap!

OH EVERYONE.

No seriously.  Pretty much everyone got their own mini-character arc in this movie.  Hulk was tragic and sympathetic and the others respected him and didn't treat him like a monster or a timebomb and Tony got a little more selfless and Cap learned to question orders and Natasha displayed some vulnerability and great empathy for Bruce and AGENT COULSON IS A CAPTAIN AMERICA FANBOY AND IT WAS SO CUTE AND THEN HE DIIIIIIIIEEEEED.

*weeps forever*

And Loki!  Thor desperately appealing to Loki to come home and Loki's bitter like, "I don't have one." and it huuuuuuuurt so much and BROTHERFEELINGS everywhere.  Loki was still tragic and sympathetic.  Albeit way more ruthless and unhinged.

Basically, everyone was handled spectacularly well, and each of them got a moment to shine.

8. Ships:

TONY/PEPPER STILL FLOATS, WITH CUTE BANTER AND SNARK.

CLINT/NATASHA IS SETTING SAIL QUICKLY.  HOT DAMN THEY MADE AN EPIC BATTLE COUPLE.

NEEDED MORE THOR/JANE.  SHE WAS MENTIONED AND SHE'S SAFE, BUT THERE WAS NOT A REUNION AND I REALLY WANTED A REUNION COME ON.

Conclusion:

AHSFLAKSFHALSK.

'kay, not spoiling anything, just letting you know that it was pretty much everything a superhero team-up movie should be.  Action-packed, dramatic, funny, entertaining all around, sad on occasions, and just one of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in a loooooong while.

GO SEE.

movies, soundtracks, superheros, how i love thee!, squeeage, batman, fangirling, omg, trailers, shipping, sibling love is awesome too
