A few brief notes-
1. DeviantART inflicted version 7 of its site on us yesterday. I figured out how this one navigates pretty quickly but I still think the layout is GHASTLY. Miss the search engine bar being on every page. Hate the ads being under the header for your profile info on the profile pages. Can't find the menu option to edit/update my DA journal easily anymore. Hate the moving of the Add Favorites/Add to Collection buttons to the right and long comments being squashed into a "More" tab. Can't find the box that tells you what groups your deviation is submitted to. Hate the format of the comments. What is with sites like YouTube and DA trying to go for a Facebook/Twitter-lite "look" these days? It doesn't look good at all, it's messy and confusing, and I'm not on DevART or YouTube because I want to use it like freaking Facebook.
GAH!
2. ABC dropped Flash Forward. *Sigh!* Well I knew it was a distinct possibility but I'm still kinda bummed we won't get to see the final resolution of the whole Stop The Second Blackout And Prevent Doomsday plot arc.
HOWEVER! I DO GET RESOLUTION TO A CERTAIN SUBPLOT OF THE STORY THAT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT TO ME. SPECIFICALLY THE BRYCE/KEIKO SUBPLOT.
So I was browsing YouTube for some Bryce/Keiko amvs right? A few Bryce/Nicole ones are mixed into the search results and I click on a few on a lark to read the comments. A couple people talk about spoilers they read that shocked/suprised them. I am confused.
I don't leave YouTube just yet because there's a Bryce/Keiko amv I want to watch. Aaand... huh it looks like a slideshow of set photos from the filming of their flash forward together back in "Believe" that's kinda cu-OMG! WHERE DID THOSE LAST FEW COME FROM?! IS THIS FOR REAL?! ZOMGYAYSQUEEEEEEEEE!
I flail in excitment for a bit, add the video to my favorites, and then in a rare moment of spoiler houndage I went searching for info on the last two episodes yet to be broadcast.
AND RECIEVE CONFIRMATION!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
YES! YES! BRYCE/KEIKO KISS! IT'S CANON BITCHES! CANON!
AND THIS MOMENT PLAYS OUT FREAKISHLY SIMILAR TO THE BRYCE/KEIKO FANFIC I'M CURRENTLY WRITING. IT'S LIKE THE WRITERS ARE READING MY MIIIIIIIINNNND!
Now all that's left to see is how they'll break off the Bryce/Nicole they'd been developing. I'm kinda hoping it goes like I'm writing in my fanfic and Nicole graciously concedes Bryce to Keiko and reminds him that she in his own words, "Gave him something to live for." and generally pushes Bryce away from her and towards Keiko. 'cause I like Nicole and I don't want the writers to needlessly shaft her in the process of putting the Epically Destined Bryce/Keiko together. I want them to handle it with respect and not make either Nicole or Bryce look like a jerk.
Even though Bryce kind of is anyway for plumb forgetting about Miss Gave Me Something To Live For Keiko after failing to find her in "Believe" and then getting emo about dying of his cancer and starting up something with Nicole without getting proper resolution from the Keiko end.
Oh oh... you know what would be really awesome? If Nicole actually called Bryce out for his forgetting about Keiko. I WOULD COMPLETELY FORGIVE YOUR CRUEL TEASING OF US BRYCE/KEIKO-ANS WRITERS, IF YOU WOULD DO THAT. And then like have Bryce and Keiko go and check on Nicole once they're done being couple-y in the sushi restaurant to make sure she's okay and, you know, not drowning.
THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!
So yeah. Looking very forward to the final two episodes of Flash Forward.

3. Robin/Raven shippers amazingly continue to get on my nerves. Even several years after the show has ended. I mention this because the Relationship Writing Fumble page of TVTropes just had an obviously false Rob/Rae entry added to the Teen Titans examples, which I promptly deleted, pointing out the troper's flaws in logic. (He/she named "The End" trilogy as part of the writing fumble for Rob/Rae overlooking the blatant Robin/Starfire Ship Tease and the fact that Part Three has a visual Like Brother And Sister sequence between Robin and Raven which quite clearly illustrates the type of relationship the writers intended them to have.)
And I found a nice goldmine of wanky YouTube comments to add to my collection.
I appreciate the lulz guys but seriously. YOU LOST. You didn't exist in the context of the show. YOU ARE NOT CANON. Get over it. Fanon-ship somewhere in peace.
