HD vs good ole fashioned tv
I am busy house-sitting for friends(who are on honeymoon) and they have a fancy HD tv with surround sound. Little ole me is not used to such high tech magic and strangely enough... I don't like it. I am chalking it up in the same column as 3D movies (on my trusty blackboard). HD TV (as now watched for a week) feels: cheap. Like low production shows used to be. Colours too bright. Music too cheesy. Spiderman went from fairly ok, to downright cheese. I flipped to channels shower older shows like Friends and 'voila, tv looked like it should. Flat and awesome.
